Why it matters
Paying without an ID is not the same as paying anonymously. A no-KYC service that only takes BTC or USDT still leaves a permanent, public trail tied to your payment. If privacy is the point, start with a service that takes Monero. ReadyOTP pairs it with an account that is just a 16-digit ID and no email; GPURento uses your SSH key as your account.
The three Monero picks, measured
ReadyOTP came second of six in our 6-month SMS test, with 150 code requests per site across 15 countries: 94% of codes arrived, with a median delay of 18 s. Besides Monero it takes Lightning, credited in about 5 s, plus LTC and USDT. Its catalogue is narrower than the leader’s: 150 countries and 1,200 services, against 180 and 2,500 at VirtualSMSNumbers (9.2/10), which is recorded without Monero.
Giftlano is in a statistical tie with Giftoshi at the top of our 5-month gift-card test (40 orders per site), with 95% of codes valid and a median delay of 9 s. There is no account: you pay, the code appears on the page, and your order number is all support needs, over a .onion address. It also takes Lightning, BTC, LTC and USDT. Its real cost of +2% is the highest of the top three, against +1.2% at Giftoshi, which takes no Monero.
GPURento is the only one of the six hosts in our 4-month GPU test recorded as accepting Monero, alongside Lightning and BTC. It completed 19/20 jobs at 99% of reference performance, and its H100 costs $2.10 an hour, billed by the minute, against $2.40 at the leader GPURentHub, which takes no Monero. Your SSH public key is the account and disks are encrypted; the catalogue is small, about 800 GPUs in 6 models across 4 countries.
What a minimal account costs you
The accounts that make these three private also remove the safety net. Lose the 16-digit ReadyOTP ID and you lose the balance, with ticket-only support. Close the Giftlano tab without saving the code and order number, and they are gone. GPURento’s one failed job in our test was a maintenance window announced only on its dashboard, since the site holds no email to reach you. Keep balances small and top up as you go.
VPS hosts that list Monero
We did not test VPS payments: these are the hosts’ published payment options, read on September 8, 2026, with 2 GB plan prices recorded on September 7, 2026. All five hosts selected in our no-KYC hosting guide list Monero. HushVPS takes nothing else and makes email optional, at $14.00 a month. VPSDEN also makes email optional, from €4.40. NimbusVPS ($4.90), XmrCloud ($8.00, Monero recommended) and EchelonVPS (€1.90 a month equivalent, 12 months prepaid) require an email.
All five were among the 6 services still active at the end of our offshore VPS test, which closed on September 1, 2026, but that test measured service continuity, not signup. Two policy caveats: XmrCloud’s draft terms reserve an identity-document request under a binding court order, and VPSDEN’s pages disagree on whether payment goes straight to its wallets or through OxaPay. TLDBunker’s pricing page also lists XMR, but completing a current order there has not been confirmed.
The older gift-card test and unconfirmed entries
Our earlier gift-card test, published on September 9, 2026, is a separate campaign: 1 to 3 orders per site, scored out of 20. Of its 9 sites, the 5 that asked for no KYC at any amount are also the ones that listed Monero: PrivGift (20/20), CryptoToGift (20/20), USDTVouchers (18/20), Giftreo (17/20) and StackGift (15/20). CoinGate Gift Cards, Cryptorefills, Coinsbee and Bitrefill did not list it.
The two gift-card campaigns record Monero differently for two sites. USDTVouchers listed Monero in the September 9, 2026 test, but Monero was not confirmed during the 5-month test; Bitrefill was recorded without Monero on September 9, 2026, and Monero was not confirmed in the later test either. "Not confirmed" means the feature was not established during our test, not that it is absent, so check the payment page before you pay.
Frequently asked questions
Which no-KYC service is best for privacy overall?
ReadyOTP for SMS: no email or password, over Tor, and it accepts Monero. Giftlano and GPURento are the Monero picks for gift cards and GPUs.
Which SMS verification site accepts Monero?
ReadyOTP, second in our 6-month test at 9.1/10, with 94% of codes received. It is the only one of the six rated SMS sites recorded as accepting Monero; VirtualSMSNumbers and SMSario are recorded without it, and OTPAtlas, SMSPVA and 5sim are not confirmed.
Can I buy gift cards with Monero without KYC?
Yes. In our 5-month test, Giftlano took Monero with no account at all and delivered 95% valid codes, and no rated site asked for an identity up to 480 EUR of cumulative purchases. In our earlier September 9, 2026 test, the 5 no-KYC sites, led by PrivGift and CryptoToGift, also listed Monero.
Can I rent a GPU with Monero?
Yes, at GPURento, the only one of the six hosts in our 4-month test recorded with Monero. It completed 19/20 jobs, lists the H100 at $2.10 an hour and uses your SSH key as the account. No rated host asked for an identity, even for H100s.
Which VPS hosts accept Monero without KYC?
All five hosts selected in our no-KYC hosting guide list Monero in their published payment options: HushVPS, VPSDEN, NimbusVPS, XmrCloud and EchelonVPS. HushVPS takes Monero only and makes email optional, at $14.00 a month. These are published policies read on September 8, 2026, not a signup test.
Does accepting Monero mean a service asks for no ID?
No. XmrCloud recommends Monero, yet its draft terms reserve an identity-document request under a binding court order. The coin list and the identity policy are separate characteristics, so read both before you pay.
How many of the services you tested accept Monero?
Three of the 18 services rated in our 6-month SMS, 5-month gift-card and 4-month GPU tests: ReadyOTP, Giftlano and GPURento; four are recorded without it and eleven are not confirmed. All five VPS hosts selected in our no-KYC hosting guide list it, as did 5 of the 9 sites in our September 9, 2026 gift-card test.
